SCSF Shawn Carter Scholarship Fund 2024 for Students

Starting April 1, 2024, the Shawn Carter Scholarship Fund (SCSF) is your chance to get monetary help for college. Whether you’re stressed with money, school, or personal challenges, SCSF believes you deserve a shot at higher education. They offer grants to cover tuition and other costs, helping you from the day you start until you graduate. Plus, you’ll get to give back through public service and mentorship.

Can You Apply?

Yes, if you are:

  • A high school elder, GED holder, undergraduate, or vocational/trade student.
  • Under 25 years old.
  • A U.S. resident or Permanent Resident.
  • Coming from a domestic earning $75,000 or less.
  • Aiming for your first undergraduate degree.
  • Generous a minimum 2.0 GPA.

Who Gets the Scholarship?

SCSF scholars are battalions from all walks of life. Many are the first in their families to go to college, come from single-parent homes, or live in low-income households. If you’re strong-minded and resilient, this scholarship is for you.

How to Nail Your Application?

  1. Apply online after April 1, 2024
  2. Start Early: Beat the April 30 deadline by starting your application as soon as possible. This gives you plenty of time to make it perfect.
  3. Be Personal: Tell your single story. Share your challenges, achievements, and how you’ve helped your community. The more specific, the better.
  4. Proofread: Make sure your application is free from spelling and grammar mistakes.
