IHE Delft Blue Scholarships in Amsterdam 2024

Are you an international student obsessed with water management and sustainability? IHE Delft invitations talented water professionals to apply for the Delft Blue Scholarships for on-campus short courses in 2024. These scholarships support professionals eager to subsidize water solutions in their home countries.

Institution of Higher Education (IHE) Delft Blue Scholarships

1# MENA Scholarship Programme (MSP): Inhabitants of Algeria, Egypt, Mauritania, Morocco, Oman, and Tunisia are eligible for MSP scholarships for their choice of short courses. Unfortunately, applicants from Iraq, Jordan, Lebanon, and Libya are not eligible owed to country-specific requirements.

2# Delft Blue Partial Scholarships: Aimed at professionals looking to recover water management globally, these incomplete scholarships cover a portion of the tuition fees. Recipients must manage the remaining costs, counting tuition fees, travel, accommodation, and daily subsistence.

Eligibility for Delft Blue Scholarships

  • Admission to an IHE Delft short course.
  • Active in a pertinent field with the potential to apply new skills and knowledge.
  • Full-time availability for the course period without interruption.
  • Must not be employed by a multinational business or large commercial organization.

How to Apply?

Choose Your Course: Apply for hypothetical admission before 19 March 2024to one of the following courses:

    • Flood and Coastal Erosion Risk Assessment (12-30 August 2024)
    • Renewable Energy: Small Hydropower Development – From Planning to Design (16-27 September 2024)

MSP Scholarship Application: Use the Delta online tool to apply for an MSP scholarship by 26 March 2024, 16:00 CEST, after getting your academic admission email.

Delft Blue Application: Submit your application for a Delft Blue Scholarship by filling out the dedicated form and sending it to shortcourseregistration@un-ihe.org.

Financial Considerations

Delft Blue Scholarships provide a reduction in tuition fees ranging from 30% to 50%, depending on your or your employer’s eligibility category. Applicants must be ready to cover additional costs, including the remaining tuition fee, travel, lodging, and daily subsistence.
